Are there other ways to dispose of or recycle roofing shingles in MA besides a dumpster?

We are stripping our roof and re-shingling in a few weeks and I'm wondering if their are any alternatives to renting a dumpster for disposing of the shingles. I would love to recycle them if possible. We live in Machusetts
