How would Hawaii be effected if earth's axis flipped poles to equator?

Whether or not it would end up being a part of a new landm or not, the resultant effects of such an extreme shift of the ocean m would totally obliterate everything on the tiny specks of land (relatively speaking) that make up Hawaii. Life on Hawaii wouldn't survive a shift.
