I think i may have a problem...?

Just recently i have been carrying my fishing rod everywhere, which is normal for a fisherman, but the other day i accidentaly hooked myself on the ear while i was taking a shower. Now when i go down to the swimming pool i can't cast my line in to catch some fish. Can someone help me fix the problem so i can go fishing again.........please :(
