Is it me, or do Christians completely ignore, or are uneducated of their vicious history of conflict?

I am not going to deny these atrocities at all, but the Christian religion (in its various forms) have been used as cover. It was not only Christianity, but political ambitions were probably a more potent driving force. I don't think that it was like how nietzsche's ideals inspired Hitler in WW2, if you were trying to get to that. Good Question Nonetheless.
