Is it safe to breed ducks and feed them to my 17ft burm?

i have a 17ft granite burmese python female, she usually eats either one large rat or a rabbit every 10 days but i was wondering if it would be safe to breed duck kill them when they reach adulthood and feed them to my snake or would it be unsafe and the ducks be diseased even if they hav never left the barn. i currently have 7 females ducks in their but i might get 2 males if it is safe to breed them as snake food
