Thoughts on Washburn guitars?

My friend's parents own a pawn shop, and they have two guitars for sale. One is a Washburn WI 64, the other a Squier Strat. I'm leaning towards the Squier since it's my first electric guitar (been playing acoustic for almost a year), and I can't find much online about the WI. Can somebody tell me about their experiences with this band? Gracias answerers.
